About PacketGuard

Born out of necessity.

PacketGuard was originally developed to strengthen the DDoS protection at Wasabi Hosting. Most volumetric protection providers couldn't fully meet what our servers needed, and some attack traffic still leaked through. So we built PacketGuard ourselves, on our own network, against the attacks we were actually seeing.

Every volumetric provider has its strengths and its blind spots: strong against one class of attack, weaker against another. PacketGuard was designed to close those gaps and to be shaped around your network and your requirements, not a one-size-fits-all ruleset. Attacks grow more sophisticated every year, and PacketGuard evolves with them.

Today PacketGuard is offered as a B2B product to hosting providers, game studios and ISPs who run it on their own networks. You work directly with the engineers who build it.
